BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
The 50 km is four laps and the 100 km is eight laps of the 12.5 km trail loop course that includes shaded shoreline around scenic lakes, steep ascents and descents through upland forest, and panoramic views from rolling meadows. The course lies within Green Lakes State Park. The 100 km will be open for 14 hours- the qualifying standard for the Western States Endurance Run.

WESTERN NEW YORK ULTRA SERIES:                                                                                           We are proud to be event #4 in the Western New York Ultra Series, which is a meaningful regional competition supported by race directors. The series is sponsored by Fleet Feet Rochester, Hammer Nutrition, and CherryPharm which provide important products and services to our sport and do so for all the right reasons.

A WORD ABOUT YOUR TRUST:                                                                                                          We consider participant information such as email and street addresses private and will never share such information with a third party. That is the reason we will not participate in race series which are administered by brands or magazines. The race registration website RunRace.net provides an excellent service that also values your privacy. RunRace.net will not ask for a phone number, will not try to sell you something with your credit card, and will not use your email address for marketing. 

GREEN RACE ADMINISTRATION:
We want to provide a "green event" by reducing waste, minimizing the impact on the state park, and find ways that decrease the event's energy comsumption. We are a web based event. You will never see a paper registration or advertisement for this event. We adhere to the American Trail Running Association's Rules On The Run as they pertain to race administration.

Green Lakes State Park is a treasure just east of Syracuse, New York. The park takes its name from two glacially-formed lakes (Green & Round Lake) which get their distinctive color from deep clear waters and minerals from limestone bedrock. Round Lake is designated a National Natural Landmark.
Of the park's 1,756 acres, surveys have found nearly 800 acres of old growth forest. This multi-use park has campgrounds, miles of hiking/biking trails, and a golf course with restaurant. The beach area includes picnic areas, a concession stand, cold showers in the beach house, and a playground. This is a nice setting for family and crew.
